Chelsea Acquires New £55m striker to be announced as Arsenal watch on unfazed by rival business

Apparently, Chelsea have completed the signing of Brighton’s João Pedro in a £55million deal and could have gotten more deals there way.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have watched on as the Blues, including the Brazilian, will add six players to the squad this summer.

Pedro will join the likes of Liam Delap, Estevao, Dario Essugo, Mamadou Sarr and Kendry Paez in west London as part of the new club owners’ strategy to acquire strictly young players.

Meanwhile, Arsenal has only signed just the one player with Kepa Arrizabalaga arriving from Chelsea.

Although, Delap and Pedro are not upgrades to Kai Havertz, who only join the Gunner from Chelsea two years earlier.

You could make a good case that Nicolas Jackson is already a better option—red cards aside, of course.

Apparently, Arsenal will be more concerned by their genuine title rivals Manchester City and Liverpool, whose business has been relatively far more impressive.

While, Liverpool’s Head coach, Arne Slot has added Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and the record-breaking addition of Florian Wirtz.

Also, Pep Guardiola’s side  successfully ushered in Rayan Cherki, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Ait-Nouri, although many pundits speculate that they are merelybenough to see them past Al Hilal in the knockout stages of the Club World Cup.

Let’s see how things plays out eventually…
