Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume‘s firm was incharge of managing the International Conference Centre, Abuja, until it was revoked from him and now renovated and renamed Bola Ahmed TINUBU International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Apparently, Under Ndume’s management, it was remitting N60m per year.
Now that it’s being taken from him, the centre has raked in N650 million in just two weeks
Because of this, he was desperate to see the president to lobby his way back, but net a brick wall, which necessitated his continual criticism of the president, claiming it’s been difficult to access the president.
Meanwhile, He was part of the cabal under Buhari and was indeed rewarded with some of these freebies like managing the ICC by the cabal in charge then.
So, when members of the cabal choose not to support Tinubu to emerge as the candidate of the party. Ndume went with them and supported el-Rufai’s candidate, Rotimi Ameachi.
Morever, el-Rufai was meant to emerge as Ameachi’s running mate, with an agreement of transiting power to him by 2031, when it would be the turn of the north.
So, when el-Rufai was shouting ‘power must go to the South in 2023, it was not a message targeted at Tinubu, but for his political ally, Ameachi, to emerge and he be the running mate.
So, upon the emergence of Tinubu as the APC candidate, they all went their way and promised to deliver Atiku with the condition that they will retain the control of the system .
This was why the likes of Ameachi, Lawan, Malami, Ndume, Emefiele, Abdullahi Adamu, el-Rufai and other cabal members worked and mobilised for Atiku Abubakar against Tinubu in the 2023 general election.
And if you check the 2023 presidential results, the APC lost the presidential election in the zones and bases of most of the cabal members.
These same members of the cabal are the one who went with Atiku to form the coalition ADC to remove Tinubu under the guise of rescuing Nigerians from hardship and suffering purportedly inflicted on them by President Tinubu.
